Is it my trauma or is it my intuition??

How do you learn to navigate this one?!

Well first I want to say that you don’t have to unpack all of your trauma to be able to have a relationship with your intuition and your guides.

You simply need to know that it has shown up.

It will show up differently to your intuition. There will be fear energy and doubts and thoughts of “what if” that show up.

Your intuition will be steady, calm, repetitive, and as you are creating the relationship with your guides and your intuition you can always ask it to speak, show or send feelings or ideas loudly, clearly and repetitively so that there is no doubt.

There will be no extra information. It will be neutral and without charge.

The more you become aware of your physiological and psychological responses to things the easier it will be to determine if it’s your trauma showing up or your intuition and are they both fighting for a seat at the table at the same time.

It’s important to develop your intuition through fun and simple ways that aren’t going to bring up your trauma triggers like making a decision about something that you know will likely trigger you.

You need to make sure that you cultivate it in a fun and safe way.

Once you know how your intuition is showing up for you through simple and playful exercises, it will be easier to notice the energetic difference between your fear and your intuition.

For example, when you are walking home from somewhere, practice pre-empting the colour of the next car to come around the corner!

To do this, drop into your observer state and start to listen with your inner senses. Set the intention that your guides are going to share the information of the colour of the next car.

The colour may come to you as a word in your thoughts or you might see it as a written word in your minds eye.

You may see a colour in your third eye, you might just have a feeling that the colour is.. or you might have a memory of another item of the same colour, or hear the word being spoken in your mind.

Or it may come to you in a different way, let it come to you how it’s going to come to you. And observe that too!

There are lots of games and exercises that you can do to develop your intuition and connection with your guides. It can be a fun and joyful experience.

Play with your guides, let them lead you to things that you need, like a random item you want or need.

Remember to set your intention and then drop into listening and receiving.

Developing your intuition with inconsequential items or experiences is the fastest way to develop your understanding and the difference between fear and intuition.

Don’t start with the hard stuff.
