Dearest Darkest Heart Part 2

In my last blog post I shared an example of how some of my wisdom comes through me. 

Through my songs! 

Or as Yogananda puts it “to practice the presence of the divine” within oneself.

In this article I’m going to go deeper into my process and share it with you. I hope it sparks enlightenment for your own journey with magic of the Divine frequency.

I write songs because I love the sound of music. I also love hearing it and the feeling of it, when I make sound through singing. 

When my voice connects with the vibration of the strings of a guitar or a piano and I come into harmony with another instrument, it sends me into a timeless place. 

When I was growing up it was obvious that I was creative, I was a dancer I was always singing and acting. 

Now I know that I was expressing. Myself and the Divine, as the Divine. 

Before I was conscious of what I was doing, all I knew is that there was this place within me that felt so good when I went in and connected with it.

Not to mention that it was a place of refuge from the challenging environment I was living in.

I discovered in my tinkering that there was a particular place within me that would feel especially good when I sang from there. 

It had an aura of mystery, of romance and it also felt like a hug. In other words, I felt connected and loved.

Now, as someone who has studied healing, tarot and learned about how spirit communicates, I know that I am connecting to the divine within me. My gift is an essence, frequency, vibration of the Divine Intelligence. And it’s my purpose to allow it to flow through me and to share it. 

The ego wants to plan, set a goal and execute it. But the Divine frequency simply wishes you to sit in its pool of bliss and experience it, explore and express. 

When it’s just you and the Divine there is no pressure to perform for anyone. You can simply express and explore the movement and the feelings within you. 

There are a few different ways that I create songs but it’s always about intention. Intention is the creating force behind our will – higher or lower. 

Vibration when paired with intention is a powerful healing tool. Intentional words as well. It can be used by the lower and higher wills of the self, consciously or unconsciously. 

I may have an intention as simple as ‘I want to write a song’. Or I can feel an energy in me that I want to express in a song.

Sometimes I have a particular emotional experience that I can feel in my body that I want to express. I never really had a ‘voice’ in my family, so song was how I expressed my feelings. 

I go into that feeling within, focus my awareness there and I explore it with words and movement of pitch and harmony, and I let the expression of the words be transposed vibrationally into the music. 

I can never contrive it. If I try it sounds, well contrived!

From a physics point of view I find that “crying” occurs when there’s a charged energy behind a pitch. Whether that’s spirt, or the emotion I’m expressing through singing it out of my body or them mixing together.

It starts the journey of becoming a “resonate frequency”. Once the feeling is harmonised or has come into neutral the crying normally stops. 

The tension and release in music aids the release in the body if there is an enjoyment of that particular harmonic movement in the psyche, i.e. it connects to become a resonant frequency.

When we open our hearts to the e-motion of sound it has a profound effect on the emotions stored in our cellular memory. 

If you sing through something a few times, you might notice that the crying starts to become less and less, this is because you are harmonising the two frequencies together. Thus healing occurs. The emotions are now a vibrational match to the frequency of the Divine compassion and love. 

From a lyrical compositional point of view, if you say a phrase with different emotions it will naturally have a melodic sound to it, it will also have a rhythm, a tempo and an energy with it. This is easily transposed into music.

Say the following phrase in 3 different ways: “The rain is falling again”. Try it first with a soft romantic feeling, then an annoyed feeling and finally an indifferent feeling. 

Notice how different each one is expressed and experienced within and how it elicits a whole different character, energy, movement, tempo, rhythm and melodic weave each time. 

This is one of the ways that I transpose emotion and expression into music.

Ultimately, connecting with the frequency within really is a process of listening, connecting, exploring and allowing.

The medium through which you bring this energy through is a background, automatic experience. The how of your medium really needs to be let go of, otherwise you come back into the ego and you will lose your connection. 

Editing has a place, but always later on, once the energy has come through you and has been recorded. Once its all out on the page, then you can refine it. 

It’s a process of joy, you are invited simply to enjoy it. 

You wont always get something that is worth sharing with the world, sometimes you just have the experience of playing and being present in the energy. 

In this way, you are cultivating your space so that when something does want to come through you are ready to receive it in one hit! 

That’s how those songs you hear about that are written in 20 minutes happen. 

You’ve practiced going into that space and cultivated it so when you feel that urge of something wanting to come through you know exactly how to connect with it and allow it to flow through you. 

It has become known to me that a part of our purpose as an incarnate soul in this dimension, is to bring through this Divine frequency of love, of our purpose. 

To anchor it here on the planet, into this collective consciousness, at this time.

Not only are we sharing this gift with others but it is a blissful, joyful and aligned experience for us too! 

We are creating a new earth, and bringing through your wisdom is a part of that plan.
